Pázmány Péter Catholic University
Pazmany Peter Catholic University (PPCU), originally founded in 1635 and re-established in 1992, is Hungary’s only Catholic university, run by the Hungarian Catholic Bishops’ Conference. Based in Budapest with campuses also in Piliscsaba and Esztergom, it offers English-taught Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programs in humanities, information technology, and natural sciences.

Admission Requirements
Bachelor's applicants need a secondary school leaving certificate; Master's applicants need a relevant Bachelor's degree; PhD applicants need a Master's degree. English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL or equivalent) required for all levels. Several Master's programs (Bioinformatics, Computer Science Engineering, Info-Bionics Engineering, Medical Biotechnology, Quantum Engineering) include a 1-semester preparatory track (1+4 semesters) for applicants needing a stronger technical foundation.
